Aburto Committed to Study and Play Sports at Treasure Valley Community College

By Cody Smithies

Aryssa Aburto, an outstanding athlete from Weiser, has committed to study and play sports at Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC). She discussed her goals, experiences, and motivations in an exclusive interview as she gets ready to become a part of the Chukar community.

Aburto was largely drawn to TVCC by the school’s demanding softball program and its well-regarded nursing curriculum. She was passionate about softball and nursing, and she thought TVCC would be the best place for her to accomplish her academic and athletic objectives at the same time.

Aburto has played softball for ten years, and her teammates’ and coaches’ unwavering commitment to her game helped her get there. As a member of the WC Warriors, Idaho Crush Fastpitch, and Dirt Dogs U18 Black teams, she developed her abilities and laid the groundwork for her future success at TVCC.

With an eye on the future, Aburto sees herself as a committed player who is ready to take on any role that her coaches assign her. She intends to emphasize her academics while persistently working to further her athletic ability, even in the face of the pressures of collegiate athletics.

Aburto expects difficulties as she gets ready to make the switch to collegiate athletics, especially in juggling the demanding requirements of nursing coursework with her athletic obligations. She is nonetheless adamant about overcoming these challenges with tenacity and fortitude.

When Aburto looks back on her time playing sports in high school, she remembers it well. Her first home run came in her freshman year, and that experience stoked her desire to develop into a real power batter. She advises other student-athletes going through the college recruiting process to highlight their abilities, commitment, and academic accomplishments to potential coaches.

Aburto is thrilled about the prospects for both physical and personal development that await her as she eagerly anticipates becoming a part of the TVCC community. As a student-athlete at Treasure Valley Community College, she is ready to make a big difference because of her relentless dedication to greatness on and off the field.
