Baa Baa Barista; Sheep and Coffee?!

What, you may ask yourself, do coffee and an ebony hued ovine have in common? Pose the question to new owner of Weiser’s BLACK SHEEP COFFEE AND COOKIE COMPANY, Angela Beams, and she may describe it as this.
Both are unique in personality; both stand out for their individuality and both incite a curiosity to explore the singleness of both!
Having grown up with an agricultural background, Angela is no novice when it comes to hard work or the rewards of individuality.  A lady of eclectic talents, unsurpassed energy and a propensity towards challenge, she has worn many hats; her most successful being that of wife to her husband, Zane and mother to her four children, Taylor, Carson, Wyatt and Stella. The addition of a daughter-in –law,Heather, and the title of Grandmother to baby Owen just made her wardrobe complete!  As the children began to leave her nest, she concluded that the best way to fill her time was to fulfill her personal dream; to be her own boss and absorb herself in something that was fun and profitable at the same time! The opportunity to achieve that goal came in the form of an acquaintance with the at the time owner of Irish Mist Coffee, Theresa Miglioretto.  After 18 ½ years of tenure, Theresa was ready to retire; Angela was ready to evolve.
A short time of training, a myriad of planning and a lot of sleepless nights later, BLACK SHEEP COFFEE AND COOKIE COMPANY came into fruition.
Located at 603 East 7th Street, (across from The Family Dollar Store) the small building, much like a black sheep, stands out and provokes enticement. Offering numerous varieties of stimulating hot and cold beverages from Americano, Lattes, and Fruit Smoothies to Chai teas and cocoa to  mochas and  milkshakes,  it would be impossible to enjoy each flavor without spending every waking hour sampling! Very good reason for a daily visit!
If the desire to indulge in the marriage of sweet with sweeter is overwhelming, one will not be disappointed. An array of delectable cookies, freshly baked daily and most straight from the oven can be found.  Most recipes are developed and created by Angela, herself!  In addition, one can choose from an assortment of such baked goods as biscotti, and a diverse assortment of bagels! What a way to start the day!
Black Sheep Coffee and Cookie Company is open Monday through Friday from 6:00A.M. to 2:30 P.M. and Saturdays from 8:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M.  Closed Sundays; the barista needs a break!
In keeping with the analogy of black sheep and coffee, the owner’s philosophy is this, “Where one goes, others will follow!”  As for individual tastes, Angela invites you to just, “BE EWE!”
