The Community Council of Idaho, Inc is a nonprofit organization that has been making a difference in Idaho communities since 1971. Now the largest nonprofit serving Latinos in the state, their purpose is to improve the social and economic status of local communities by assisting with workforce preparation, education, civil rights advocacy, and many other services. Their mission is to strengthen families by offering opportunities in education, health, housing, employment, and legal services.
Every year, the organization gathers for a special event to honor those who devote their time to the mission of the Council in all three the regions. Recently, the Community Council of Idaho began celebrating their 50th Anniversary.
