Player number 49, Dylan Herberg, is a sophomore at Boise State University. At 6 foot 2 inches, Herberg is a sizable local kid in the spotlight recently. Formerly of Weiser, Herberg graduated from Timberline High School in Boise. He is known for an impressive senior football season and has gained experience through BSU now that he is attending Boise State. Herberg enrolled with BSU in August of 2018.
Friends, family, and fans were excited to see the announcement that Herberg once again earned the honor of carrying the hammer out at the BYU game. Locals cheered extra hard for #49 as most watched from home due to COVID-19 restrictions. About 1,100 fans consisting of parents, family, band members, cheer squad, and 500 students were allowed into the game. What an exciting time to see a homegrown Weiserite making waves with the Broncos!
