October 3, 2022: Andrea Wheeler, NP, a family provider at Family Medical Center (FMC) has announced plans to leave the practice. Wheeler has been seeing patients at FMC for nearly 4 years and has had a wonderful rapport with both her patients and the staff. She will continue to see patients at Family Medical Center until the end of October.
“I have chosen to pursue a different career path in order to spend more time with my family,” Wheeler said of her decision to leave the clinic. She added, “It has been my pleasure to serve my patients and their families, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Family Medical Center. I will miss my colleagues and patients, but this is the best choice for me and my family at this time.”
Practice Manager Madora Albertson says the clinic staff has appreciated the care Wheeler showed her patients and her clinical knowledge. “Andrea really cares about those she works with and those she serves. We wish her the best in her next venture.” Albertson continued, “we are thankful to have several wonderful primary providers here at the clinic. If patients wish to keep FMC as their medical home any of our other providers will happily continue their care.”
