The community is welcome to attend a free event hosted by Angel Wings Network, Inc and their Angel Riders team at Fred Hust Arena in Weiser on June 17th. This event will open at 11am and run until 2pm.
The Angel Riders will be there with their horses to give rides to the kids around the arena. Helmets will be provided. People of all ages are encouraged to attend! They will also have Patron the Donkey, the Weenie Dog Herd, Whitty the Rodeo Clown, and other fun activities! Stick horse races for kids and adults! Pet some farm animals and meet the Angel Riders team.
There will also be a cornhole tournament with $100 in gift card prizes to the winners. Register for the cornhole tournament by June 9th. $20 per team. Stop by the Angel Wings Office at 773 W. Main St. to pay for your team. Cornhole participants should be ready to play by 11:20am.
The concession stand will be open for purchasing lunch and beverages. Lunch is FREE for CANCER SURVIVORS AND CANCER PATIENTS! Please bring cash to buy some goodies while you hang out with the crew. There will also be a donation jar available to share a gratuity if you wish. Walk around the arena, pet the farm animals, play a game, have some lunch, and sit in the stands to watch the fun! Be sure to wear a hat and sunscreen.
Executive Director Mabel Dobbs wishes to thank the Weiser Valley RoundUp board and volunteers for their help and support with this event. Angel Wings board and volunteers are excited to see everyone and hope to see new faces join the festivities! Volunteers are always needed and welcomed.
