Fruitland City Police Ribbon Cutting & Appreciation of City Staff for Their Hard Work.

On Friday, May 31st, the Fruitland Police, with the Fruitland Chamber Of Commerce , held a grand opening and Ribbon Cutting for their brand-new police station. This event saw the police force bid farewell to their former crowded facility at City Hall and now embracing a modern and more spacious facility to better serve the community. The Fruitland Chamber brought an additional cause for celebration by generously presenting a $12,500 check from several donors at their annual fundraiser, Apple Jam. This charitable contribution aims to support the procurement of a new police canine, which will enhance the department’s capabilities in ensuring the safety and security of Fruitland residents. Fruitland City Administrator Stuart Grimes took a moment to express his gratitude to the dedicated City staff for their hard work and sacrifices that led to the successful completion of the new police facility. Grimes acknowledged the collective efforts of the City employees who went above and beyond to make this important project a reality. During a recent Fruitland Chamber Of Commerce Ribbon Cutting for the new police facility, Grimes singled out former Mayor Brian Howell for his significant contributions in advancing the initiative for the new police facility. The Grimes highlighted Howell’s vision, which played a crucial role in driving the project forward to completion.
