Levina Mae (Fowler) Downing, 74, of Payette, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 14th 2024 in Meridian, Idaho surrounded by her family.
Born in Reedley, California in 1949 to Harold and Mattie Mae (Osborne) Fowler, the family later moved to Tulare where she graduated high school 1967.
Levina met the love of her life, Raymond in 1970, in Visalia, California. They married in 1971 in Las Vegas before settling in Visalia and then Cayucos, where they brought both of their babies home from the hospital.
In late 1992, the Downings packed up all of their belongings and moved to Payette, Idaho searching for a quieter life for their children. While having lived in Payette longer than anywhere else, Levina was still a California girl at heart.
Levina was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Berta. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Raymond, her two children, Michael (Kimberly) and Monica, her 3 cherished grandchildren, Addison Mae, Nolan and Naomi, and her favorite niece, Rhonda.
