“My name is Gordon Wilkerson. I was born in Council, Idaho and raised on a family century farm in the Cambridge area. I graduated from Cambridge High and then went on to College of Southern Idaho where I received a degree of Ag Diesel Mechanics. After college, I returned to the ranch, working with my Grandad and Dad in the operation, management, and fiscal responsibilities of the ranch.
This is why I feel I am the person for this job. Family. When you involve family in any operation the decisions are for the good of the whole, NOT the individual. I watched, and was a big part of, decision making for the whole. This job is not about me, it is about YOU – The community. The whole.
That is why I feel I am a good fit. The reason I am running is to help guide the future for those who don’t have a voice or seat at the table yet. The young people.”
