June 10th is Free Fishing Day in Idaho!

Saturday, June 10th the state of Idaho will hold a free fishing day. This means everyone regardless of age or location in Idaho, can fish for free, no license is required. Those who plan to fish that day will need to fish any of Idaho’s waters that are open to fishing and must follow all other fishing guidelines and rules. Please check out the Idaho Fish and Game website before heading out to fish.

As a reminder, in the state of Idaho, children thirteen years old and younger can always fish for free. According to the Fish and Game website they have stocked over 500,000 catchable rainbow trout throughout Idaho in preparation for free fishing day.
