There was a mountain Lion sighting reported near Indianhead Estates.
With any thing like that, our Weiser City Police Dept. decided to take it seriously and reported it to the High School and others in that area. The School was not on lock down but students and faculty were made aware.
As of now Chief Carl Smith said that they had found no evidence of a Mountain Lion in the area. This is the second time that there has been a sighting. Chief Smith said I believe that they see something out there. He has been on the phone with a lot of media and the news has been moved quickly to concerned parents.
