Pauline George – Obituary

Pauline Gale George, age 76, passed away on August 30, 2023, in Weiser, Idaho. She was born on August 4, 1947, in Lodi, California, to Arthur and Mary Potter. Pauline was the beloved wife of Dick H. George and together they shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories.

Pauline, was known for her outgoing and fun-loving personality. She was a social butterfly when ever she was out, she never met a stranger. She had a zest for life that was contagious, and her warm and welcoming nature left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Pauline’s passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and happiness.

In her professional life, Pauline had a successful career. She worked at Champion Mobile Home Sequoia division, Idaho Timber, and the Weiser School District. Her dedication and hard work were evident throughout her career, and she made a positive impact on those around her.

Pauline is survived by her loving husband, Dick H. George, and their children: Rick & (Sherry) George, Cindi George, Jason & (Dolly) George, Jon & (Christina) George, Kevin George, Dustin & (Michele) George, Hugh & (Kim) George, Orval & (Kathryn) George, and Richard & (Lisa) George. She was also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pauline is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Potter, her mother, Mary Potter, her stepmother, Mildred Potter, and her sisters Charlene Anderson, and Ruby Jones, Vera Baldwin.

A Celebration of Life to honor Pauline’s memory will be held on September 5, 2023, from 11am to 1pm at the Church of Latter-Day Saints. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their fond memories of Pauline.

In lieu of flowers or contributions, the family kindly requests that you remember Pauline by cherishing the time spent with your loved ones and spreading kindness to others.

May Pauline Gale George’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
