This months Guest Artist is Sophie Snedaker. She is 11 years old and is a student of Bonnie Abkar at Artful Bon. Her artwork will be on display through September 12.
Sophie Snedaker will be going into middle school this year.She first started doing art when she was 4, but her first real lesson was with ArtfulBon’s when she was 7. Her favorite thing about doing art is the creativity and freedom that you get. ” You can do whatever the heck you want!”
Her best type of art is sketching with pencils. She does that a lot- because she can take it everywhere, and because, she says, she’s good at it. Her favorite painting is the beach painting. She feels like she did a really good job on the ocean and she really likes the grass and the rock.
Her hobbies include playing with dogs and cats and riding her 4 wheeler, and of course arts and crafts. She likes to spend time with her school friends from Cambridge Elementary. When she grows up she’s planning on being an artist with a ton of dogs!
