Reopening Plans at Weiser Care of Cascadia

Dear Residents and Family,
First, we are so grateful to you, our residents and families, for all of the patience and understanding you have demonstrated as we have moved though these unprecedented, uncertain, and often frustrating times. We have been vigilant here, protecting our residents and staff, and are fortunate that we have not had any COVID-19 cases. This is thanks to a heroic effort from our staff AND an amazing cooperation from our residents and their loved ones.
We’d like to provide you an update on the Reopening Plans at Weiser Care of Cascadia. A more detailed letter is being sent to resident families and their representatives.
WEISER CARE OF CASCADIA REOPENING PHASES:
• July 22, 2020 – Reopening to in-person family visits. This will be conditional based on screenings and protocols being followed. These visits will initiate on an appointment only basis with limits on quantity, volume, location, time, age, distance. Appoints can be made, starting July 20, 2020, by contacting April, Social Service Director, during business hours at (208) 549-2416.
*These plans/phases are subject to change. More details and updates will be communicated in the near future.
Our team will continue to pursue creative activities and approaches so that your loved one is cared for mentally and emotionally as well as physically. Social Distance Visits are still highly encouraged as we strive to uplift our residents in any way that we can during these challenging times. We know that you want to keep Covid-19 out of Weiser Care of Cascadia just as much as we do.  Thank you for your continued patience as we adhere to the policies and guidance that are intended to keep our residents as safe as possible.
Sincerely,
Weiser Care of Cascadia
