Scouting for Food

This year’s annual Scouting for Food drive collected almost 3,000 lbs of canned goods distributed between WICAP and Love,Inc. Scouts from Troops 330, 350, 355, and 388 went door to door in Weiser this past weekend to collect the bags of food.
Troop 350 aslo delivered 1,700 lbs of potatoes to WICAP and Love, Inc. These potatoes were gleaned for the fields of Bill Johnson, Oregon Side by the Girl Scouts and Cub and Boy Scout families that utilize the Scout House in Weiser. Some of the potatoes are for sale; with proceeds going to maintain the Scout House. If anyone would like 30 lbs of great potatoes and onions (from Haun Packing) please contact Bob Barber  549-3758.
