Thank you, Weiser, for your generous outpouring of coats for those in need. I sent out a plea in early December and what a response we had! The drop box at the library had to be emptied almost every day. We collected used coats in pristine condition, brand new coats by the bagful and even a cash donation to Love INC designated for kids’ coats.
We now have plenty of coats to fill the need this winter and a good start to our drive later this year for the big giveaway in October.
The drop box at the library has now been removed but will be back in August. A big thank you to the ladies that work in the library. They have been so much help getting the word out.
What a wonderful town Weiser is! This just proves that together we can accomplish so much.
