On Sunday, at approximately 5:00 pm, a two-car collision occurred at the intersection of State Street and East Galloway in Weiser. The incident involved a black Acura traveling north on State Street, which was struck by a red Sonata heading west on Galloway. The impact deployed the airbags of the vehicle.
The 34-year-old male driver of the Sonata was charged with failure to yield in the accident. Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported, and they were promptly attended to by the Washington County Paramedics on the scene.
The investigation of the crash was being handled by the Weiser City Police, with support from the Weiser Fire District. Their collaboration aimed to address any potential hazards resulting from the incident, manage traffic flow in the area, and ensure that the accident scene was appropriately managed.
