Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on October 10, 2022, at 3:17 P.M., on US95 at NE 19th Avenue, in Payette County.
A 2007 Pontiac Vibe and a 2009 Dodge Journey were traveling northbound on US95. The Dodge slowed for traffic and was rear-ended by the Pontiac. Upon impact, the Pontiac crossed into center line and struck a John Deere Swather, which was traveling southbound on US95.
The Pontiac was driven by a 19-year-old female from Fruitland. She was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital. The Dodge was occupied by a 33-year-old female driver and a 27-year-old male passenger, both from Weiser. The female was transported by air ambulance to the hospital. The John Deere was driven by a 36-year-old man from Weiser. He was wearing a seatbelt.
Traffic on US95 was blocked for approximately three hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
