Monday, May 8th during Weiser’s monthly City Council meeting Mayor Randy Hibberd presented Jason Goerge his Journeyman Lineman Certificate with a pat on his back and a “Good Job!”. George is a Lineman in the electrical department for the city of Weiser. He began as a member of the ground crew and over the course of four years has become a Journeyman Lineman. “You may not know, but it’s a lot of hard work, a lot of education and it’s a job where you can take your life in your hands every day and you have to be very careful, ” stated Mayor Hibberd.
