Weiser’s Pioneer School Principal Kisses A Pig!

Thursday, February 2nd Pioneer School in Weiser ended their Reading Week with cowboy fun and games. Students from each grade got to participate in stick horse races, wagon races, bull riding races and a tug of war match as their classmates cheered them on. The main event for this celebration  was Principal, Dr. Sarah Hatfield kissing a pig!

Students were given reading challenges and goals to receive loops that would be added to their grade levels paper chain. The goal to get Dr. Hatfield to kiss a pig was for each grade level to get their grades paper chain down to the “OWL” K Corral that was located across from the front office. All grades made their goals and their paper chains that hung zig-zag down each hall, made it to the corral!
