MOVER OVER Jimmy Fallon and Ellen! There’s a new game in town!! Late night television is meeting its match in small town broadcasting! Weiser’s exclusive on-line newspaper is going live; well, almost.
Alex Chavarria, well known for his innovative media concepts, enthusiastic, and tireless pursuit of the untried is taking his pioneering talents to a new level with a new on-line talk show entitled Living In The News Almost Live.
Tentatively scheduled to premier on Monday, March 27th, LITN Almost Live is the latest brainchild of Alex, who will produce and direct the program.
Dynamite, it is said, cannot be lit without a long fuse and a reliable torch! The igniter in this case is the hostess,”Weiser’s Girl About Town“, Mandy Comer. Well known in the community for her entertaining personality, her spiced wit and unique sense of humor, Mandy is bringing new meaning to amusement! Her relaxed demeanor, enticing giggle and propensity to tout her motto, “Let’s get real!” make her the perfect combination as moderator of this innovative new show!The premise of LITN ALMOST LIVE is to leisurely entertain, inform and enlighten the audience in a relaxed atmosphere, namely your own home! The 30 minute format will entail segments of interviews, featuring people and subjects of local interest, current event, and musical talent, all flavored with humor as well as spontaneity. Who know what will happen!
The appeal of the new program is the freshness of its concept. Alex’s vision is diversion in a natural way. Viewers will be able to enjoy the show at home on YouTube via Smart TV’s just like any of their favorite show or on any other devise, any time, even while lounging in their “jammies, ”digging into a bowl of popcorn and chilling out after a long day of digging in the trenches!
LIVING IN TH NEWS, ALMOST LIVE is being filmed at the Weiser Little Theater, airs on Mondays each week and promises eclectic amusement and a myriad of surprises! It may not be perfect at first, but it’s all in fun!!

Payette Schools recently held a Junior Chamber of Commerce event where summer school students created their own businesses within the Treasure Valley. This summer's focus was on entrepreneurship, with students developing various business ideas and even creating custom business cards and t-shirts.
