The leadership and staff at Weiser Memorial Hospital were recently awarded an Honorable Mention in the “Large Employers” category for Best Places to Work in Idaho.
Best Places to Work in Idaho’s mission is “to identify, promote, and support Idaho’s best employers”. This organization uses confidential employee surveys to pick a top10 in each size category (size based on number of employees). They then select others for Honorable Mention if the scores are high enough. Not all companies who participate receive recognition.
The program is for employers who register through POPULUS, a Human Resources and Marketing Research Firm. They provide the surveys and combine the answers and score the companies. Results are then shared with leadership in the organization.
“We appreciate the recognition and really use the results from the survey to better understand what we are doing well and where we can improve,” said WMH HR Manager, Terri Kautz. “We try to create an environment that is not only the best for patients, but for staff, too. And one that encourages good candidates to apply for open positions,” continued Kautz.
The Best Places to Work in Idaho Honorable Mention helps demonstrate that Weiser Memorial Hospital is committed to the values of integrity, compassion, and excellence. Staff and leadership can be proud of their hard work.
