City of Weiser Police Department Press Release
On July 9, 2023, at approximately 9:20 p.m.; Weiser Police and Washington County Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute located at the Colonial Motel in Weiser.
While enroute, dispatch was advised the suspect was allegedly armed with a handgun. Responding officers and deputies cordoned off the area and evacuated the motel. The alleged victim was able to get out of the room and moved to a safe area by officers. After attempts to contact the suspect shown fruitless, telephonic contact was attempted and the use of Ada County Sheriff’s Office negotiator was activated. At approximately 2:45a.m. Thomas Conner of Nampa, Idaho, was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Conner was arraigned on Monday afternoon in Washington County Magistrate Court and was charged with two counts of Felony Domestic Battery and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Conner was also charged with two additional misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and a protection order violation as well as
four warrants of arrest. Conner is currently being held at the Washington County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
