It has been a long 12 months since the Weiser community has been able to venture into the library due to pandemic shutdowns and restrictions. With the release of the COVID-19 vaccines giving cause for hope, public buildings are opening more and more.
As of today, March 1st, 2021, the Weiser Public Library is back open to the public after an extended closure. Community members have been anxiously awaiting news of the re-opening. While pick-up services have been available for months, it is exciting to know that now we can peruse the book sections inside the building once again.
The Weiser Public Library staff stated that they will be following social distancing guidelines and taking precautions to keep staff and the community healthy. While visiting the library, face masks will be required. For those who wish to use the computers, a time limit of one hour will be enforced. Library hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.
