By Marsha Woods
Music is said to be the soother of souls; the motivator of moods; the healer of hearts and the connector of charm!
The theme of this week’s LIVING IN THE NEWS; ALMOST LIVE, features a magical blend of breathtaking talent performed by two of Weiser’s youngest and most captivatingly delightful daughters!
Deemed “Weiser’s Rising Star, “by anyone who has witnessed her performances, Christy (CJ) Higgins is the epitome of a voice that needs to be heard! Quiet in her demeanor, Christy immediately mesmerizes her audience with awe when she is on stage! Her naturally gifted voice is an immediate hypnotic!  Christy has made a name for herself in productions for the Weiser Little Theater, Onion Skin Players, as well The Weiser Performing Arts Series. No one who hears her voice, which encapsulates and echoes in the heart, ever forget her! Her latest venture into the interpretation of aria comes in the form of two chilling vocals taken from “The Phantom of The Opera, “can be enjoyed at the upcoming Masquerade Ball on April 22nd at the Vendome Events Center.! Meanwhile, she will enthrall you with her personality and a taste of her talent on LIVING IN THE NEWS; ALMOST LIVE!
Melodic accord is ever evident in the dynamic daddy-daughter duo of Zane and Stella Beams, locally well know personalities! Stella, AKA Stella and the Starbeams, sans some of the rays, prove that parents and teens really do get along! Zane has been an instrument in his daughter’s life; encouraging as well as committing to her aspirations!  Stella’s aptitude for the eclectic is proven with her heartfelt tribute to her very special friend, Julie Kerner!
LIVING IN THE NEWS; ALMOST LIVE, has only just begun!  It takes time, it takes effort and it takes talent to align a guest list designed to entertain and enlighten collectively! That is where the allure comes into the picture!
It’s live, well almost! It is local, and it can be viewed on YouTube, Twitter and any smart T.V.! There is always something new, something informative and definitely something fun! This week, it’s all about the music!
